General Information
The PGNiG Group, a leader on the domestic market, is the only vertically integrated company in the Polish gas sector. Natural gas and crude oil production assets give the Group a competitive advantage over other players in the gas business. An integral part of the Group's operations is trade, storage and distribution of natural gas. The PGNiG Group comprises more than a dozen companies operating domestically and internationally - in Denmark, Egypt, Kazachstan, Norway and Pakistan. Highly competent management staff at the Group companies ensures that the customer base and the scope of operations are growing by the year. Launches of new projects (e.g. involving generation of energy from natural gas) drive up the number of customers, which in turn contributes to an increase in the volume of natural gas sold in Poland. We implement various investment projects (e.g. involving development of gas and crude oil reserves) which not only enhance our production capacity but also strengthen Poland's energy security (expansion of underground storage facilities).
Our mission is to provide reliable and safe supplies
of clean and environmentally friendly energy, using competitive and
innovative
energy solutions. We remain true and faithful to our tradition and to
our customers
who trust us, but at the same time we are open-minded and ready to face
new challenges.
Acting in the best interest of our shareholders, customers and
employees, we strive
to be a reliable and trustworthy partner, and an organisation that
delivers
growth and ever-greater value in accordance with the principles of
sustainable
development.
