Poland's membership in the EU poses many challenges and possibilities which are a result of changing conditions in which we operate. It makes it necessary for our Company to be actively present in all European Union forums - which, on the one hand gives us a chance to obtain true information and, on the other one, lets us expressour opinions in a better and more audible manner.
Thus PGNiG, willing to adapt to changing circumstances, tries to be a pioneer among energy sector companies of Central Europe. Our representative office is an information channel for the Company while major activities which will be carried out in our Brussels office include constant monitoring and analysis of changes in the European Union legislature with particular attention being paid to all these changes which may affect PGNiG's existence on the European market. At the same the PGNiG Representative Office in Brussels is to enlarge and extend the Company's scope and command of knowledge about the European Union institutions as well as to increase the awareness of the European Union governing bodies in relation to the PGNiG's opinions and position. Besides, the representative office fulfils its traditional role representing the company on the European Union arena and increasing the recognizability of PGNiG brand.
