Have HSEQ as a line management responsibility, where each manager is
accountable for HSEQ within his/her area and not delegating this to others.
This should be demonstrated by:
- Formulating the framework we are working within.
- Establishing and maintaining a good company culture.
- Having an active involvement in company activities, our employees' welfare and job satisfaction.
- Encouraging and appreciating employees' contribution and involvement.
- Care for our own life and health. Care for our colleagues, customers, partners, suppliers, shareholders and the society; including environmental aspects and financial assets.
- Educate and train our personnel.
- Integrate risk and uncertainty assessments into our decision processes.
- Be centred on prevention rather than corrective actions.
- Seek improvements in what we do, at all levels.
- Select suppliers and contractors that manage HSEQ in line with our policy.
- Be active participants in associations/organisations' joint HSEQ work.
